I got the George L's make-your-own patch cables kit yesterday. No complaints about the construction, it was extremely easily to cut the cable to length and attatch the connector ends. However, the sound...wow. The cleans sound amazingly more clear, but....all of the low end "chunk" out of my palm muted E chords is GONE. What the hell....

Interesting. Haven't noticed that with mine.

Maybe just need a small eq adjustment to make up for the new found clarity.

I messed with my presence and gain knobs a bit but haven't had a chance to really sit down and tweak it out. I'll give it a try after work.

wanna buy george l's ?

i'm selling them

What is George Ls cable cutting kit exactly.. is it justr a cable cutting kit designed for racks and stuff? and how much do they go for?

I have George L's linking my pedalboard ..

if I Bypass my board and plug straight into my amp, there is no added bass. Nor if I use my pedals, do I any lose any "Thunk or Chunk" ..

I would try and troubleshoot the problem more ..

but tell ya what .. I will double check, just for your own sanity sake. :)
