Hi All,

I've never been a big fan of effect pedals, but I gave in, and bought a reverb and a delay pedal to use in the FX loop of my Dual Recto.

I assigned it to the footswitch button, and set it to 100% wet. Problem is: when I activate the FX loop, there's an increase in volume. How can I eliminate this? The send level is set to 12:00, then again, it seems to change the volume both with and without FX activated on the footswitch.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Greg

Hey,

Funny you ask as I was going to ask a similar question. On my 2012 Dual Recto I also assign the FX loop to the foot switch. Whether or not I have a delay or chorus engaged.........when I tap on the FX loop using Channel three.......a bit of gain is added. Not minding it as I use my channel 3 for rhythm/rock/metal. Just curious if it was normal.

One thing I do different is I set the FX level pretty low. Especially on my Mark V. I find that when I raise it it ***** out the clean channel. Adds a lot of unwanted break up.
