Hi Guys ,
Fuse on my DR RK II just blown for the first time .
This is about European (250V ) version .
It seems MB owner's manual does not consider customers out of America , since there is no specs for fuse when one's using 250 V power , only domestic 5 A slow blow .
Mine is labeled as " T 2 A 250 V , and I am wondering is this 2 Ampers , since I don't know what "T" suppose to be for .
Thanks for the help .

Not a RK user, but yes, a T2A fuse is a 2 Ampere 'T' (for Time Lag, also known as Slow Blow or Anti Surge) fuse. This is a very standard size and should be easy to get from any normal electronics store. Don't use a F (Fast Blow) version if they don't have Ts, it will likely just blow on power-up even if there's nothing wrong with the amp.

But... if the fuse has blown, there probably is something wrong with the amp, most likely a blown power or rectifier tube. Buy more than one fuse. Put one in, and power the amp up with the power switch making sure the standby switch is set to standby (mute). If the fuse blows again straight away, it's most likely a bad rectifier tube. If it holds but blows when you turn the standby off (play) it's most likely a bad power tube. If it doesn't blow, one of the tubes possibly has an intermittent fault and may not show up until later - this is quite common.

Don't just keep replacing fuses if they keep blowing, there's something else wrong. Two blown fuses is enough to tell you that there is a real problem and it's not just a 'bad fuse' (which can happen, but not very often). And do NOT be tempted to increase the fuse value - it's specified as 2A for a reason and you will only cause more damage.
