I recently bought a used pair of 8ohm Celestion Vintage 30's to ad to another pair of Vintage 30's to fill a 4x12. Turns out that the other pair are 16ohm speakers. DOH! Therefore I am offering up the pair of 8 ohm vintage 30's. I am 90% sure that they were made in England, for those of you who care about this, however, I cannot tell. I am asking $140 plus shipping. PM me or Email me if interested. I can send pictures by email if interested.

Thanks,
Scott

There was no sticker on the magnet, however, there was a number stamped on the frame: "JV3010" and "T3903".

They are 30 watts each.

Duh  My bad. I post in haste. Yeah you are right. I will check this evening if there is any indication on the speakers to what the actual wattage is.

I checked the speakers and there is no indication of the wattage on hem that I can tell. The frames do have "MADE IN ENGLAND" stamped in them. How can I verify the wattage as beign 60W or 70W?

T3909 is a regular Celestion V30 (60w).

There is no 60w and 70w version. They're identical speakers... Mesa just changed their rating to 70w because Marshall did and they wanted to keep up. Same speaker... different sticker.
