Hi!

The amp was purchased new in April 2007 and is in pristine condition with no Tolex dings or scuffs. I have never gigged out with the amp and only have used it in smoke free environments (i.e. my house and my band's rehearsal space). I would estimate that the tubes have about 25-30 hours of use on them, with the master volume never going past 11 o'clock. All paperwork, FS, cover etc. and original box are intact.

I am looking to trade it for a Mark IV short or medium head (prefer short) in similar cosmetic and electronic condition.

Asking $1500 + plus shipping (which we can figure out). I have pics available too, so email me privately if interested. Hopefully we can make a deal. Thanks!

If I may ask, why teh change of heart/switch ot a IV?

Where is PA is Sayre? I'm in Akron, Ohio.

Fair question. After spending a good bit of time comparing the Mark IV to the Roadster (I finally had the chance to compare them side by side with my gear), to my ears the Mark IV has more distinctess/clarity in tone. Also, I was getting a bit tired of the "Recto sound", although the Roadster certainly can do 80's metal. I'm more of a classic rock/80's hair band kind of player than a fan of the nu-metal sound. Back earlier this year when I was shopping for the Roadster, I didn't give the Mark IV a serious look because of it's complexity and lack of "plug and chug". Mistake on my part.

Sayre PA is located at the PA/NY border, about 40 minutes west of Binghamton, NY andabout an hour east of Corning NY. It's in the Sounthern Finger Lakes region of NY. It's about 5 1/2 hours from Akron to Sayre. Take care!

At present, I have a guy ready to buy it, but we're trying to work out logistics
(when is able to meet me to complete the deal. He's from Canada). However, if the deal falls through, I'll let you know ASAP. Thanks and take care!

Hello Everyone,

Just to let you know that the amp is still for sale. I would prefer to sell it outright, although several folks have made tempting trade offers, but unfortunately stuff that I really don't need at the moment. If you are still interested, please let me know. Thanks!

Matt
