This is a reissue of the amp that started a revolution. All original, no upgrades or mods. A few scuffs and tears in the tolex but otherwise excellent. This sucker is heavy and loud!! Can be switched from 100w to 60 and then to 30 in the “Tweed” setting. Great effects loop and reverb. Equipped with the amazing EV12L speaker this combo can go from crystal clean to searing high gain tones!
Normally, I would never dream of selling this amp. It simply needs to be played. This amp works best in a clean to mean (like Santana) setting. I set the 2 preamps on 6s or 7s on 100W and it plays semi-clean rhythm on low volume and I turn up for lead- so it isn't raging full on all the time perfect sustain. I don't generally footswitch between channels. I have also found that the rhythm volume controls the treble output and the lead pot controls the low end. varying between these allows an easy dial in of treble to bass ratios. The new owner of this amp will be very happy with it!
Recently re-tubed with TAD 6l6GC’s……..
