I thought I would post this one last time before I post it on Ebay. Would like it to stay in the family

The head is in excellent shape mechanically and cosmetically (see pics below). It was recently checked out by Voodoo Amps in Ithaca NY and everything checked out AOK with a clean bill of health. According to the previous owner, the power tubes were new when he sold me the amp (4 Groove Tube Gold Series 6L6CB-Q Rating 5). Empty boxes included.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Heartbreaker and its 5 gazillion features, here's the link:

http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Out_of%20_Production/Heartbreaker/heartbreakerinfo.html

It includes the original footswitch, power cord, and manual reprint.

I need to sell it to finance another Boogie and I am asking $850 (OBO) plus shipping. It is boxed securely in a Boogie box with styrofoam protecting the controls. All of the tubes have been removed, bubblewrapped and inside two plastic school boxes. If you plan to use Paypal, please add 5% to cover the fees.

FWIW, I have 100%+ feedback on Ebay ([email protected]) and have done deals with Boogie Board Members GTS and MusicManJP6 so they can vouch for me. Please PM me if you are interested, make me an offer, and we can talk further, or if you have any questions. Thanks!

Matt

What does the heartbreaker sound like ? Does it have mkIV or III amounts of gain or is it more of a blues/jazz amp ?

You can definitely get some Santana type gain out of Channel 1.

I don't think it is quite as high gain as the Mark IV though.

Channel 1 is the 25 year tribute to the Mark I.
Channel 2 is more Marshall in character.

The Heartbreaker is definitely not as high gain as the Mark IV, but still packs a good tonal punch 8)
