I have a couple of his DVD's and they have some pre-carvin live performances where he is using a JMP-1 for preamp and marshall cabs. I have no idea what he is using today. I know in the early days he was about the ibanez guitars just like most players of that era.

For the last couple years he's been using the Carvin TN100 preamp, TC Electronics G Force, and a Carvin DCM 1000 power amp into two Carvin 212" cabs loaded with Celestion V30's.
