Footswitch LED went away

hi, the LED don't come ON, but it its engaging as is supoussed to, i don't think its the cable, the footswitch worked ok for a year now, and yesterday i was playing a gig and the light just went away, after tapping it worked again, but for a moment just went away and now just won't come on even if i tap , any ideas?

Turn the Mark V off, and unplug/re-plug the cable on both ends (to the amp and the foot switch). While you have the cable removed look at the pins to see if any are damaged. If it doesn't work with the amp off, try with the amp on.
