footswitch died second time! is it the problem in amp or fs?

ok, here is the thing. I own a dual rectifier solo head. Bought it used. I used it for several days, and my big foot footswitch died. It could not change channels any more, and every time I would press some switch it would make a lot of noise, buzzing....so I took it to some electrical shop. There was problem with some Logic IC. I bought new one, from mesa boogie, replace it, and it worked as it should. But now, two moths later, the same thing happened! The same problem. Is it maybe the problem directly in amp, something is braking the switch, or just the switch is bad? I don't have any possible repair service for the amp, so I am asking for your help, advice..... thanks in advance...

I read your other thread about voltage....that could have a lot to do with your problems.
