This is one of the very first in production, even has the ever so rare Brazilian fretboard. From what I gather, Fender used the Brazilian only to get rid of 1983-Vintage 62' reissue old stock before going to Pau Ferro in the late months of 1992.
If my calculations are right, this one is the first 778 from the line. You can search ebay and find Pau Ferro models... but it's *RARE* to see the Brazilian Rosewood on there. The last Brazilian Rosewood on ebay sold for $3500 + $80 shipping.
I'm taking offers on this one. Comes with tweed case. Everything is ALL ORIGINAL on this guitar!!!
I even have the information of the original owner from this guitar.
I have pictures + Disassembled Pictures of it HERE : http://gear-monkey.com/forums/index.php?topic=63.
