Was just wondering if not using the fan in the Lonestar Special would hurt anything. I'm not gigging with the amp just yet so the volume is never very loud. My question is by not using the fan will the amp get too hot......or leaving the fan on all the time cause it to wear out?

I would leave the fan on. Cheap enough to replace if it goes. The extra cooling cant hurt. It was designed to be there and on and running.

I would leave it on . It will certainly make the tubes last longer I would think as well as less stress on the amp in general
