Thats a flip flop paint color. It changes from greenish to purple depending on the angle of the light.
I only have one other pretty poor pic of that at the moment but it gives you the idea:

Hey what camera did you shoot that with? Looks really nice. DSLR perhaps? If so what focal length? The colors are really vivid. I have a Nikon myself.
sbalderrama said:The camera is a Nikon D70 and a pretty standard 18-70mm ( 35mm equivalent ) zoom. That shot is probably at about the 35mm setting I'm guessing. Lit with a White Lightning studio flash and an umbrella.

Heh... AxeFX + Boogie still sounds better than AxeFX + QSC for me at the moment though. Not sure if its the QSC itself or something in my AxeFX sim power amp settings I need to work out.

No wonder it looks so bloody good! Those cameras are killer. My dad has a D50. I'd love to get a D40 soon. The only difference is features that i prob wouldn't even mess with. If you know what you are doing you can create masterpieces like yours!
A friend came over yesterday and we stared at my windows background for a good 5 minutes solid commenting on your different guitars and amps. I'll have to holler at you if I'm ever passing through Tone Heaven USA. I'd love to just be in the same room as all that nice gear!

I would stay away from the d40. It isn't even sold anymore officially. Nikon is going to replace it VERY soon. Like within the next 3 or 4 months. But to be completely honest, the d40 and d60 are not very useful to me because they don't autofocus older lenses. Two out of my 3 lenses wouldn't work on a d40/d60 because they lack the autofocus screw-drive motor and screw in the lens mount. This severely limits the lenses you can use. Unfortunately :/ The d50 was the last entry-level camera that Nikon has which still retained this autofocus ability, making it superior to those two and even the d70/d70s because it has less noise at higher iso. It's really old nowadays though.
