f50 short heads: how rare?

Long story short, I want one. I love my f50 widebody combo. The only things I don't love about it are its size and weight. The short head configuration seems ideal.

How often do they turn up? Are they worth more than an f50 combo? Could I, say, trade my combo for one or sell my combo to buy a short head?

Any info is would be much appreciated.

According to Mesa, it was just a few at the beginning of production. I have never seen one for sale. You might be able to get them to make one for you.
