I was wondering -- how hot is an F30 SUPPOSED to get?????????
I have all new tubes-- none appear to redplating--the heat is coming from the transformer--
in comparison to say My Subway Blues--
(or any solid state amp I own) the F30 is by far the HOTTEST to the touch after several hours of use---its 6 inches from the wall behind it with normal "air flow" (same distance as the Subway) but again after playing a bit (and not DRIVING the tubes -- in my small 10x12 practice room---) its very warm to the touch -- not BURN YOUR HAND hot -- but noticeably warm comped to others.
IS this NORMAL?
