I just bought an Express 5:50 (really like it by the way) and was going to buy some spare fuses to have on hand. the back of the amp says the fuse is a 120 V. I went to "the Shack" for some fuses but they only have 250 V 3 amp fuses. Will these work? If not, where do you suggest getting fuses?

thanks in advance

Phil

I don't think it is a good idea to use a fuse that is rated higher than the stock one. It won't blow as fast and might not protect the circuit properly.
Mesa should be able to sell you one.

As long as they are both 3 Amp the fuse is fine. 250V is the maximum allowable voltage through the fuse. If a short develops, the amp will draw more current (amps) and blow the fuse, while the voltage stays the same.
