hi all, I will just start by stating that i am a complete newbie when it comes to anything guitars so please bear with me
currently i have a dual rectifier 3 channel and i love it, its rough and for what my band plays its great, however at home i have been trying to dial in a good pop-rock kind of sound but it just sounds to abrasive. I brought this up on another board and i have done alot of thread searching and found that alot of people use EQ's in the loop and people suggested this could be the best solution.
here lies my question, alot of people swear by the mxr 10 band eq which looks great, unfortunately the only ones i can find are overseas on ebay (im in australia) and are a bit pricey because our economy aint flash right now, or i can source a boss 7 band eq for a more reasonable price.
will it be worth my while copping the price for the 10 band or will this boss one do the trick?
thanks!
