EMG 81/60 for sale

I swapped out the two EMG'S from my 2007 ESP eclipse II and replaced them with SD's. I bought the guitar brand new and only played with the EMG's in it for about a week. I am now selling the PUPs. They are fully functioning and have no scratches/marks on them at all.

The sale includes one EMG-81, One EMG-60, and the wiring harness.

I am asking $130.00/set

Hey guys,

Sorry for the uber-bump, but I just wanted to say that I was the one that purchased these pups, and I FINALLY got them installed today!

A quick Google search for anyone selling a set of 81/60's shortly brought me to this message...

They came about a week or so ago, but I had to order some new quick connect wires, and a pre-wired stereo jack.

Anyways, after a few hours of wiring and trial and error today, it's good to go.

They went into an Epiphone Gothic Explorer. Say what you will about Epis, because I'll agree for the most part, but I think I lucked out with this guitar. It feels amazing, and the only qualm I had with it are the **** stock pups. After swapping them out with these active EMGs, it's like night and day.

I'm a huge fan of James Hetfield's rhythm work, and the sound he gets out of his setup. These pickups pretty much brought me up to where I wanted to be with my sound (with the help of my MacBook Pro and AmpliTube Metal).

Also wanted to say that the seller is a totally honest guy and great to do business with.

How would you describe to 60 on the neck for distorted leads? Smooth? or bland?
