Well I got the pins 1-8 connected and all seems fine. Sprayed Deoxit on all swithes and sliders as recommended.
I noticed the 6L6 has a bias of -37 and the Phillips El34's I bought are -39. Close enough huh?
I was gonna compare the sound, maybe record with and w/o the El34's, and I was wondering if there are any amp settings for the amp, playing thru a Marshall cab, that you guys might recommend as better for the comparison?
Have both LP Studio and very nice Strat plus some DC's and an old Jr I can try out..
