Hello guys,

i am considering that I'd like to order som EL34 SED =C= tubes.
my first question is - do these look like the real deal or the new lesser-valued-remake?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EL34-SVETLANA-WINGED-C-NOS-MATCHED-QUAD-/310210519022?pt=UK_Consumer_VintageAudio_RL&hash=item4839fcdfee

second question - When ordering from this supplier (langrex, which is quite well known in UK), shall I ask them for any specific values so that I make sure I am safe? I know the MK5 has a firm bias and I'd like to stay within specs in order to avoid problems with warranty..

Yes, tell the seller you have a Mesa mark V. A reputable seller will be able to match the tubes to your amp.
Here's another listing:

SED and SVETLANA are two different tubes, although both offer a =C=.

For Current Production, the SED is the brand that most players prefer (myself included).

As mentioned, be sure the tube supplier gives you tubes rated to run in your Mesa.
