i know the manual says to not do this, but i have heard people doing this. Im aware that it will void any warrenty i have with mesa, but is it possible? If so does it sound good? what are the limitations? Will it eventually **** my amp in the end? if it is possible what setting el34 or 6L6 bias setting? so on and so forth...I know mark ivs did this and id would like to use this as well but if i cant oh well. Just trying to get a for sure answer. thanks dudes and dudettes.

I emailed Mesa directly (Marcus) and he told me it was not OK to run EL34s and 6L6s mixed. I've recently installed 4 JJ E34Ls and like the tone so I'll play it safe...

yeah i poped in mesa els and it was a great sound buttt my other guitarist is running a mesa stuido pre with a mesa 400 power amp so i need the balls end of the 6l6s. Just thought maybe i could get best of both worlds. But ill just wait till my 5 years is up then try it out lol.

What about the integrated sets? 2 of each all matched bias.

I've done it,along with at least one more board member...if you checked out what the biasrite readings were, I would only be concerned in 10 watt, and I think that is why Boogie HAS to tell customers its a no-go...its a disclaimer
I can tell you this for sure: some sweet Sylvania glass will yield a tone bigger and better than running a blend :D wow!!!
