Effects Loop mod from parallel to serial/ 4 cable Method

Hey guys, is there some folks here who mod the effect loop from parallel to serial (or as close to serial) on some amps like Mesa Retifier in order to get better results with the 4 method cable with boss gt8 or gt10 ???

With a parallel loop like the recto, even if the mix knob at max there's some dry sound mixed with the effects of the gt8.

Is the mod is a good thing to do? does it really improve the tone??? thanks!!!

my roadster dual recto is set up with the boss gt 8 via the 4 cable method ,just went to the boss gt forum and read the 4 cable post a few times ,hooked it up and had to adjust the boss gt8 ,so only the effects were on ,its the best sound you could imagine ,i have full mesa recto sound of the amp, and use the gt for some delay, chorus,noise gate,and volume pedal ,no mods needed!!!

why would you mod an amp for a boss gt8 ?

Just curious cause the sound of an amp is what I would think to be the most important part of your tone
