Can I run my Mark V combo through it's own internal speaker PLUS two 8 ohm cabinets in parallel?

I'm basically thinking:

Combo->4 ohm out one->Internal C90

and

Combo->4 ohm out two->8 ohm boogie cab one->parallel out->8 ohm boogie cab two

I suck at electricity. Advice is welcome.

I doubt it. The minimum load is gonna be 4 ohms. that means two 8 ohm loads paralleled. what is the impedence of the internal speaker? you might be able to do it if the internal speaker is 16 ohms and then you wire the two external cabs in series to make 16 ohms.

this link may help:

The internal speaker has an impedance of 8 ohms.

I'm thinking about hanging one 8 ohm speaker off of one of the 4 ohm outputs, and two more 8 ohm speakers in parallel off of the other 4 ohm output.

the 4 ohm outputs equal a *total* of 4 ohms whether one or both are used. You don't have two outputs with 4 ohms each. You can use one for 4 ohms (one 4 ohm load), or both (using two 8 ohm loads or four 16 ohm loads) for a total of 4 ohms. If your speakers are truly 8 ohms (and most actually are less) your total impedence would be 2.67 ohms with three 8 ohm speakers. Mesa trannies are robust, but I would not run mine this way.

From the manual, the closest they offer is in diagram 10, on manual page 57, or pdf page 61:

Run two 8 ohm cabinets through a serial box to make a 16 Ohm load, and run that through the 8 Ohm tap, then run your 8 Ohm internal speaker through the 4 Ohm tap.

Just to be clear, I want to add an 8 ohm 4x12 where the arrow is in the picture and have the combo drive everything
