So let me start off by saying I never thought id be here EVER again. I did a NAD of the other one a bit ago, but I feel because I got this new one on sunday they needed to be together! I have owned a lot of gear like many of you. I regret 5 sales out of all the amps I've owned. Anyhow I basically have come full circle. I have owned many of these amps but I had no clue how to dial them in properly. So far ive only used the bottom one with a boost. The top one I got today and the bottom one last week serail numbers R001544 and R0683. The older one I got today and is in better condition. Anyhow they sound like HELL unleashed. And I have not wound them out together. The older one is tighter and brighter and that was with the same settings and cab and guitar. No boosting. Ill post more later!

Sorry the pics were too big. I gotta resize then

Cheers!

No pictures, I would think both amps are revision F, I could be off though, try same tubes in both amps.

683 is definatly a Rev F, took the chassis out and it's on the board, and at the same time I took 1544 out and it's a rev G on the board, so I'm not sure how anyone with a 200x serial has a rev F haha.

Anyhow the pics were too big, I'll try to take more and post.

I do I do I do!!!! I have a 26XX Rev F but it has a Mark IV power tranny, not the Mark III one. It's still tight and bright, like other Rev Fs.

Revision F was made until pushing the 3000-ish serial number range (give or take a little). Even after that, you'll find "crossover" models in the early to mid 1994 Revision G's (such as left over chassis from Revision C-F, factory serial loops, etc). Both of those are Revision F.

Whats weird is that mine that is a Rev G has a date of 1992 inside!

Figure that one out!

You'll have to post a pic of the serial and board revision. Rev G boards shouldn't have been around back then, but stranger things have happened. I am familiar with those older transformers melting down and Boogie having to completely replace the board in older Rectos before. If that's the case, I'm sure it's a Rev G board that was used.
