Very cool. As Mick_cor said, one singer does sound a lot like G.Lee, and forms a great contrast with the other two vocal styles. Kind of a cross between Rush, Opeth, and Killswitch Engage, I'd say. What's the band's name?

I like the production itself a lot, though I think the gtrs could come up a bit in the mix, or possibly have a bit more presence added to them. I liked the drum & bass mix (great kick sound).

+1, I was just abuot to say that the guitar track isn't mixed well enough, it's like theres isn't enough presence, but that's my opinion

(wasn't too much possible without getting a thin sound, but i think it's ok like that).

thanks for your comments

so how did you go about recording these? like what mics did you use, etc?

****! Those Rec's sound amazing!

Like the guy above said.. How'd you record em'? Any chance of some settings, Photo's of Mic placement etc? :D

The Band kinda have a Lacuna Coil (?) Type feel about them... They're good.

Thanks

thanks.
Band's named Redeema, that's just an older Song that's gonna be re-released on a sampler so i did a newer mix, the song was recorded some months ago.
I'm gonna produce their next album in spring 2007.
actually that'll be way better, I'm not too exited 'bout this result, but it's ok for the circumstances (kind of rehearsalrrom-recordings).
Not 100% about the settings (I'd really like to share them though) but it's just 4 tracks (mainly 2 tracks used, the other 2 are way quieter just as a kinda support) of dual into mesa std cab, if I'm not totally wrong just one single 57 slightly off axis. pickups were EMG

little post-eq: slight boost (2db or so) @ around 8k and 400Hz, slight cut at 4k and 1k.
a bit of multiband comp around 200Hz to control some low mid mud (only VERY slight comp around that freq)

I really liked guitars tone.
However I hatted snare drum tone and vocals are exagerated.
Like metal singers or whitney houston kind of stuff.
Sometimes less is more of course its only my taste.
Anyway great job.
