Dual Recto 3ch channel switching problem

Hi,

I have a channel switching problem on my Dual Rectifier 3channel.
When on Spongy setting, with FxLoop cable connected, if I switch on (through bigfoot) channel 3, with FxLoop engaged, I get this loud electric noise (which I think is and a really fast automatic switching between channels 2 and 3).
This only happens on Spongy setting, say, 90% of the time.

Any thoughts?

In standby mode, try switching thru the channels a few times before switching off stand by. That my help.

Does this also happen when f/x loop is not engaged? If not, it could be an issue with a pedal or patch cable. You could try removing one pedal/cable at a time and see if you can narrow it down to that.
