Hello. I'm an electronics tech/ amp repairman living in Austin, TX. I need some people to volunteer their two channel Dual Rectifier amps for picture taking and parts identification for research and possible future book writing.
The Dual Rectifier is an iconic amp. It is my goal to record and research everything about these amps.
This includes removal of the chassis from cabinet and detailed digital photos and recording of component type/brand etc. No internal circuitry will be removed or displaced. All this can be done in front of you, so you know nothing weird is happening to your amp, and you can ask questions about the functioning of the amp and possibly learn more about it. It'll be fun!
