Hey guys this is my first post here, and it's about my first mesa, so please bear with me.

I just bought my first mesa, a 3 channel dual rectifier head. It works great and sounds amazing. I have been setting up my delay and my phaser through my fx loop, and it works fine. My issue is that when I switch channels via the foot switch, every time I change the channel the fx loop returns to the on setting. I'd prefer the fx loop to stay off until i switch it on. I guess I am asking if this is a setting issue or if something isn't working correctly. I've got both my assign and my channel knobs set to foot switch. I bought it used, so I don't have a manual on hand, I suppose I should look it up online. If anyone has the answer I'd appreciate it. thx!

When you switch channels, did you have the loop on and expect it to turn off when choosing a new channel, or is it turning the loop from off to on when you switch?

Nomatter if the fxloop is on or off when I change channels the fxloop returns to on. I just realized there is a footswitch section of the board... if this was the wrong place to post this I'm sorry.

That shouldn't happen. It may be an issue with the cable. Did you get the amp new or used?

I bought it used... I didn't have my pedalboard with me to set up the FX loop when I bought it... lesson learned. It's baffling though because everything else works like I just took it home from the store.
