we're about to add a second guitarist and i'm currently using a dual rectifier. as he's getting ready to upgrade his gear, what would complement a dual rectifier: another one or a mark IV.

A Mark IV or Stiletto would compliment the DR more than another DR, for the most part. There's always exceptions, like completely different sounding guitars and one using el34's and one using 6l6's, but for the most part I would say Mark IV or Stiletto.

Yeah man.. get something different. I'll mirror these two guys.. MKIV or Stiletto

i'm using a mark IV and TOV combo at the same time currently. All i can say is O-M-G. All my band mates can say is: Turn-it-down!

I think you should sell him your DR and buy yourself a MKIV

lol

to be honest, i have thought of selling it for a mark IV, but i'll probably wait a bit.

but yeah, it looks like that's the route we're gonna take! thanks everyone!
