Dual Rec vs Roadking

I have been trying to do some research. I like my Dual Rec but it certainly isn't the "gain monster" that people say it is. Has anyone just the DR and the RK side by side and seen who is the bigger monster?

I haven't tried them side by side, but you should check out a Roadster. The Roadster is basically a hybrid between a Roadking and a DR. It has the power section of DR, but the preamp setup of the Roadking.

In terms of gain, I think channel 4 is dirtier than a Dual Rec....But what are you looking to play? The RKII is known for it's versatility...it's like getting a couple amps in one...But this may not be what you are looking for...

bugera eh? i looked it up. id like to try one they're not pricey. i wanna see if its got a bang with the bargain. i was lookin at the 6260...
