DR preamp tube switch

My DR runs on Sovtek 12ax 7 WA tubes, all of them.
They are rather old and i'm thinking of changing them.

What is advised to get a warm, well distorted sound?

I've been looking around, but i can't seem to make up my mind.

I use a nos RFT in V1 and JJ's in the rest. Thinking of trying a Tesla nos next.

Definitely Tung sol in V1...If you want little scooped mids and bigger bass try JJ in V2 and Shughuang in V3...If you like little fuller mids with tighter bass just swapp them around as V2 Shughuang and V3 JJ...Both settings are just excellent for heavy chugy metal sound...But if you want it more open more focused just put there Sovtek WC´s...For PI slot definitely Sovtek LPS...
