Apologies for the **** ups. I wrote this song yesterday in about 20 minutes and this was only the 3rd time playing it through (first with my amended bridge)

I'm recording with an SM57

**** yeah!

Groovy music FTW.

Half the stoner dudes on the internet think I was nuts for dumping all my Orange stuff in favour of a Dual Recto, but I think they work extremely well for that kind of music.... particularily if you're after the more sludgy sort of sound.

I am curious about the fuzz effect. Was it something being overloaded in the recording chain? Either way, it was pretty cool.

I noticed my little Boss BR-532 mixer (just using it to mix/feed the single direct to YouTube) was peaking a bit. Kinda surprising seeing as I soundchecked it and it was fine. But i think it could be a combination of pulling tubes from the Recto, running it through an attenuator and having my mixer clip cause from memory the mixer wasn't glowing red hot, it was just flickering a little.

Anyway, Orange is cool and all but there is no ******* way you can rely purely on an Orange with stoner rock. You need some kick-ass pedals to get it over the line and that's the only downside IMO. For me, the AD30 is a recording amp only.

This one's pretty boring for the first minute and a half and my playing's pretty sloppy without any drums to keep me in line
