Do Recto's sound better with ceramic magnet pickups?

I was browsing some forums, and people tend to say they like ceramic pickups when playing a recto. I'm just curious if anyone here likes them or not with rectifiers and what is improved over alnico.

Ceramic magnets tend to be a little colder and sharper than most alnicos and are generally used in high output pickups to help them cut through. I think it translates to tighter bass for a lot of recto users, keep in mind some people still have little to no idea what those knobs can really do.
