Distortion: Roadster/Road King II vs Updated Rectifiers.

Howdies)

Since I by far prefer the Roadster/RKII dirty channels to those of the Dual/Triple, but the last two got updated while the first two apparently didn`t, hence the question)

Mesa claims the updated Rectos exceed the 2 channels.
But the Roadster/RKII have always been closer to the 2ch.

No opportunity to a/b in my area.

Two things:

1) Mesa claimed the original 3ch rectos sounded exactly like the two channels, but with more features.

2) They probably based the new rectos voicings on the Roadster/RKII... but I haven't seen any yet.
