Has someone tested the Diezel amps (Einstein / Herbert). How do they score compared to a Mesa Stiletto ? Anyone who A/B`d them? What are the differences weaknesses/ strength? Which amp would you prefer and why?

i think the diezel's are more versitile but the tones IMO have a little more bite than the stiletto and have a different gain stacking..... they stay a little dryer in terms of the tone where i find the stiletto gets nice and creamy especially with the fluid drive on.... again this is just my opinion and i've had more time on the stiletto than either the herbert or the einstein.... honestly i don't see the point in paying the diezel's price tag where you get an incredible amp in the stiletto...... the only diezel amp i've ever craved was the VH4..... actually if i had the money right now i'd go for a VHT Pitbull CLX for that EL34 sound to compliment my Roadster or the Pitbull UL just because the amp is incredible

I thought the early Stilletos had some problems? I know my guitar tech friend had one and said it fas harsh and tinny in the highs. Then i read they fixed this with later versions.....but how do you determine this when buying a used Stilleto? :(
