I have a Les Paul with Custom Diamond Plate Top which is an exact match to the diamond plate used by Mesa Boogie on Rectifier Amps (made a bunch of these for a customer to match his recto stack setup and this one is an extra one I made) starting bid is $149.99 and BuyItNow is $299.99 (smokin' deal no matter how you look at it):

The guitar looks good as in craftsmanship but a little over the top on looks in my opinion.

I would check locally to see if you have a metal working place (one that builds metal fences, iron sculptures, etc) and see if they can get the materials for you to do what you want. They would probably even help you out for a few bucks.

I have done all sorts of Mesa Amp/Cab mods in Diamond-plate (mirror and flat and glossy black)... what sort of mod are you looking for?

Hello All... took the Les Paul off eBay and it's now on the DiamondPlateGuitars.com site
