Delay Pedals

Got a new toy coming in the mail today. CatalinBread Echo Rec. Any of you try this and if so what position in the loop did you place it? I have been through allot of delays and so far its the flashback and hopefully the echorec. I had the carbon copy but it didnt play well with the loop so it was returned. MXR said it has problems with a "V" curve eq. The volume will drop or go up over the normal tone

Sweet! I love the Catalinbread stuff. I own a Pareidolia and a Semaphore
but not the Echo Rec. Usually put my delays last.

I've had good results with Boss and TC Electronic delays. Both are voiced well for guitars in that they don't fight/mud up/interfere with the dry tone.

I have the EchoRec and love it, but only in front of the amp, last in a pedal chain. In the loop it affects the sound when off too much for my tastes.

Weird that you had an issue with the Carbon Copy in the loop, mine sings well there. However, I don't anything else in line there. Good luck with the EchoRec!

Haven't tried it. My H9 works great in the loop though!

Got the echo rec working last night it is by far the best delay I have ever used its in the effects loop before Any buffered pedals I had to turn up the effects send on the loop up some. I believe that Might have been why the carbon cop was having problems. I have the xotic ep booster at the end of the loop and have the echo rec in true bypass mode it sounds incredible with the mark v the tc flashback sounds great but is in no way on the same page as the echo rec.

Rnr set the echo rec to true bypass mode it inside the pedal that will fix it
