OK guys, got a friend who picked up a DC10 Combo off ebay, dated 1996 original tubes. At ten on level with master at ten the amp sounds less then 1 on my dual, defintly has a volume issue.
Changed all tubes, preamp and power amps, still the same thing.
Tried bypassing internal speakers and went directly to a 2x12 cabinet
All power tubes have a bias of 34 or above.
Tried putting a patch cable in the loop but nothing changed.
Can take a preamp into the Fx Loop and it goes to normal volume.
So something in the preamp section, can someone give me some ideas of what might be causing this.
