Greetings from the UK and from myself (Cak your Boogie Board virgin).
I have just landed myself a DC-5 head on eBay stateside.
As it's going to be USA spec 110 volts can any of you advise what rating step down transformer I need to get to run from our 240V UK mains supply.
Seems to be a big cost difference between a 300 watt and 800 watt step down, would the 300 be meaty enough to handle the job ?.
Have just sold my Studio .22 combo which I had for years, loved the tones but could never find a happy footswitching balance between lead and rhythm. Hope the seperate tone pots on the DC-5 will sort that. I'm mostly into classic rock and a bit of bluesy stuff. Having said that I've got Rammstein in the car CD right now !!.
