I have read some statements regarding different verions of the dc 5.......I own one but didn't know that there are different verions.......So could you inform me on them and which are the main differences between them?

I asked this question awhile ago and got some good answers. Have fun. The DC amps are fantastic.

I've never heard of different verions either. Let me know please.

Ok. So here's one. My DC5 has the rotary EQ select on the back, polarity switch and the rocker switches on the front. Hmmm.

Also, I've noticed some DC5's have a Mesa Engineering faceplate while some say Boogie. what's up with that. Mine was purchased new in 1989/90. It says Mesa Engineering. I rented one in 1993'94 while mine was being modded at the factory and it said Boogie on it. It still had the rotary EQ select and the rocker switches.

Any ideas?
