Hey kids,
Got a new, somewhat impromptu R&B/rare groove/dub outfit going with some accomplished contemporaries of mine, currently labeled Curtis Bumpy. Or first show will be this Wednesday the 16th (the day after tax day! won't you deserve some freshly-brewed and garlicky pizza?) at Jupiter Brewing Company in downtown Berkeley. We're completely unprepared and looking forward to 2 sets of winging it.
I'll be equipped with some newly-installed EH 6V6s in my LSC, which so far I am quite pleased with. Also featured will be all the new pedals I was, er, compelled to outfit myself with to meet the sonic demands of the new thing.
The weather has been amazing this weekend, so hopefully we'll be able to enjoy a nice swampy evening under the redwood tree. My kids will be there, bring your tribe and shake it with us.
