I've got a guys dual rec working on it, and I have a couple of questions. First, I opened it up because the orange/clean channel was motorboating, sounded like it had vibrato on it, then it went out almost totally.
There is a big lead coming out of the board right under C22, and it looks like it was bent over and covered in goop to hold it still, I'm just wondering if it is supposed to be connected. I saw in another pic on this forum that this was cut off. It just seems weird that if it wasn't needed, they wouldn't cut it off from the factory.
The other question is about R501, it looks like this thing has been hot, just looking at the stuff beside it. This seems like a small wattage resistor if its taking a lot of juice.
