Do Mesa's current chicken-heads (like on the trans-atlantics) work on 96 2-channel Dual rev-G? (leaving enough clearance all around)
This one is all flat-blackface except for those silver-pointer style knobs, which I'd be happy with if they were black also.

Anyways, I'm really seeing the black plastic chicken-heads on this if they'll fit, or if any other brand of chick-knobs will work on this.
Not only much cheaper than the knurled black-chrome-dome, but will give it a unique look.
I'd rather buy the mesa knobs if they work since I'll be doing a tube order anyways from them and that of course saves me some shipping cost.

Thanks anyone for any info.

They might work if they fit on "D" shaft pots like Mesa uses in Recto heads.

I think they have some for sale on their website if I'm not mistaken.

Scrap that. After more examination I've realized the chicken-heads would be a pain to tweak on the red channel, or at least not as easy as the dome knobs since they protrude out more and that bottom row of knobs is close to the shell and the chasis sits so far back on these.

Just ordered the full set of black knurled "recto" knobs for the amp's front.
Pricey (13 x $4.80), but now it'll have the full menacing blacked-out modern look. (I just hate those silver "pointers" lol)
Being it's in great shape and good working order I really think it's worth the $65 anyways.
