Hey Fellaz:

The band I play with - Maximum Penalty - just recorded with Dan Korneff and we got some amazing results with our Triple Rectifiers bi-amped w/an old Marshall JCM 800-- Let me know what you guys think.

The tracks are here:

Dan somehow ran the guitar through both amps which were in iso booths using some kind of buffered output box---Glad people dig it---

Thanks--

Anthony

Cool! Not my kind of music, but the sound is quite professionel! Good job! Wich pc program did you use for the songs?

Nice tracks. Kind of old school metal. Reminded me of old Anthrax or maybe MOD with a little Suicidal thrown in from the Lights Camera Revolution Era.

Not sure if thats what you were going for but I dig it.

Just left it on while I was surfing the board.

Thanks---Matter of fact the other guitar player played in MOD for a while. Our producer, Dan Korneff worked on an MOD record and that's how we got him--

I'm impressed. I've only been recently considering getting a recto as my next amp (I've been looking at ENGLs very seriously) and it's great to hear clips like this. Might be a weird thread to ask, but does anyone know someone on here with more of a death/thrash metal band who plays with a rectifier with some clips or whatever I can check out?

Sweet tunes by the way man.

Might be of interest, search for DanVortex (author) he plays a 2ch recto.

Well Amon Amarth played with Rectos. If you check out their live DVD, Rectos all over.

Cool thanks man. The only metal bands I know of that I can say with confidence that use Mesas are metallica and Behemoth. I'd be more after a Behemoth type tone. I'll definitely check out Amon Amarth. I've listened to them before, but not much.

Appreciated!

Oh ****... I think I've been converted. DanVortex's band and tone are fucking awesome. I'm thinking recto for my next purchase...
