Hey All,

I have been through alot of settings for channel 3, specifically the Mark IV voicing. I have gotten a lot of pleasing sounds but I am looking to try something different. I have a gig tonight so it would be fun to mix it up a little. Anyone have some suggestions I could try?

Current I have been using as I said, Mark iv voicing in Triode mode. Your suggestions could be any of the modes on channel 3. Right now, I have a killer rythum sound on channel 2 using the crunch voicing so i don't wanna mess with that.

Hey Satch - what settings are you using for Ch 2 crunch? I am still searching for a good rhythm sound there.

I think Extreme mode is the best on ch3. Plenty of gain, but lost is the inherent boxiness of the other two modes. I like it for the fact that it doesn't nee a lot of EQ. All eq knobs straight up sounds pretty good. Add in some preset EQ dialed slightly in and boom, you're there. Minimal tweaking.

The amp's overlay says Pentode for Extreme, but when I play on the 45w setting, I switch it to Triode. Gets some beef back.

Give it a try.
