Hi!
I recently bought a factory new Dual rect solo head and its working as a charm in every ways but one. I cant switch to ch 2 with my FS. The FS works for all the other channels such as 1, 3, FX and solo. But when i try switching to ch 2 it swithces to ch 1 instead. No matter witch channel i switch from it switches to ch 1 as soon as i hit ch 2. If im at ch 1 switching to ch 2 i stays on ch 1. The indicators on the FS thou switches correct. The FS itself says im on ch 2 but it never activates on the amp. Anyone got a theory on what might be wrong?

Hello & welcome to "The Board".

Does the amp switch correctly without the footswitch connected (using only the channel selector on the back of the amp)? This will help troubleshoot where the problem is (footswitch vs amp)

My money is on it being a bad or incorrect footswitch cable.

Thx!
Yes the ch.selector on the back seems to work as it should.
Well the good news is that it looks as though your amp itself works correctly!
Have you tried calling your dealer/store where you purchased the amp? Maybe they will let you bring the amp in and troubleshoot with another cable and or footswitch.

My money is still on the footswitch cable.

I am assuming that this is the newest Multi-Watt Recto, correct? How many pins does the footswitch cable and footswitch jacks (amp & switch itself) have? I don't own one but maybe someone reading this thread who does can compare to their Multi-Watt Recto. You may just have the wrong cable, I have seen this happen before.
