Ch 1 gain problem

hi all

i have my MV head since september and love it to death!

recently, im having troubles whit channel 1. If i crank to gain past 11 o'clock the sound become ''scratchy'' even whitout the reverb.

i changed the pups in my guitar recently, could this be the problem? unfortunatly, i dont have another guitar to compare


my settings are

90w
fat
bold

The more gain the more noise you're gonna get. Kind of hard to tell if it's a natural amp sound or something gone wrong.

Does it change when the guitar is unplugged?

i did some troubleshooting last night

it seems that the problem is whit the footswitch or is cable!
