Carefull Doin' That "Reach Around"....

So....I'm jamming last night and I reached over top of my 2X12 ED to
switch off my reverb. Hit the tube selector switch(just for an instant)
and switched to the EL34 bias.
No damage.....whew !

I'm going to press a chunk of rubber surgical hose about an inch long over the
collar ring that surrounds the selector switch.
Coulda been expensive....I DON'T want to find out :shock:

When I saw the new Mesa's coming out awhile back that had a toggle switch for tube selection instead of the slide switch, I was a bit surprised. I figured it was just a matter of time before someone inadvertently switched it over and caused some damage. I'm glad you caught it in time. Let this be a warning to all with the new setup, and to Mesa as well to make it more difficult to switch. I believe it has a small collar around it, but obviously that is not enough.....

Got one....forgot it at home.
With the piece of hose on it now, problem solved.
