Can the Hosa dual latching footswitch be used with external switching jacks?

Is the wiring right on these if TRS was plugged into the FS and then into a trs to dual male adaptor going into the channel 2 and 3 jacks on the Mark V to change channels?

Probably works but when changing 2->3 you should press both switches same time so it would be a hassle.
