I have been using a stereo end to two mono ends from G Mojor to Recto for about 8 months now and no problems. I recently heard thats bad since the Recto channel switching inputs on the back of the head is supposed to have isolated grounds for each input. Since the slitter cable I was using did not, this could damage the channel switching matrix in the Recto amp.

Now I only use channel 1 and 2 of the 3 ch Recto head. So I was wondering if it would be safe to use 1 mono cable from G Major to Recto channel 1 input on back of the head, being channel 2 as default ch and just adjust the tip & ring setting on the G Major to switch between the 2 channels I use on the Recto.

Is this safe?? cause its working using the one cable from G Major to Recto switch 2 channels.

Any help would be great cause I have alot of money in my Recto head modding it and all. Thanks

you could use one isolated relay switch from the GM and the other switch from the relays on your FCB...

Just a thought.

Well I figured if I just ran one cord from G Major to Channel 1 on the Recto then I can switch between 2 channels cause one channel will be default and other will get switched via the one cord. It really does work, I was just wondering if this was safe for me to do.
